If you’ve been looking for an enjoyable family activity this weekend, come by the Richardson Public Library on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015 for their monthly “Movie Mornings.” A fun and free community event in Richardson, "Movie Mornings" are a great way to spend quality time with your family this Labor Day weekend.

This month’s movie is “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.” Starring Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner, “Alexander” is based on the popular children’s book about a family who discovers what really matters in life after a truly terrible day. The film – and the book that inspired it – are both rapturously funny and give a great lesson on figuring out what's really important.

The movie starts at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday. The cost for the event is free and all members of the community are welcome. After the movie, we recommend asking the librarian about the book that inspired the movie, so you and your family can continue the fun long after the movie is over.

We hope you will stop by the library this Saturday for this fantastic family event. For more information about “Movie Mornings” at the Richardson Public Library, contact Richardson’s Youth Services at 972.744.4358. “Alexander” is rated PG. Check out the trailer below.
