Every year the City of Richardson hosts a bevy of terrific summer camps for local children. These camps offer a host of fantastic activities that are both fun and highly educational. The city has been offering summer camps to kids from kindergarten to teens for over 40 years and this year continues that tradition.

Richardson’s summer camps are held on a weekly basis and feature unique themes every week. These themes range from recycling and crafts to safety/first-aid and cooking. These camps are ongoing throughout the summer, running until August 21. Various camps are offered for different age groups: Kinder, Elementary and Teen, with age-specific activities offered in each age group.

We hope you will join children and parents from around Richardson this summer in participating in these fantastic summer camps. Summer camp has proven to provide kids with lasting knowledge, skills and memories that they will use throughout their life. Richardson’s camps are award-winning and have become exceptionally popular with families throughout the Metroplex.

For more information about this year’s summer camps and how your child can participate, visit the City of Richardson website or contact the Heights or Huffhines recreation centers.
