If you haven’t had a chance to view the Dinosaurs Live! exhibit at the Heard Natural Science Museum, you only have a few weeks left to do so. The show is coming to a close on Feb. 21, 2016, and it’s a must-see exhibit if you have kids who are obsessed with Tyrannosaurus rex or if you have an interest in paleontology.
Dinosaurs Live! features ten life-sized animatronic dinosaurs that not only move, but also roar. In addition, there are other captivating replicas on display, including a model of a Quetzalcaotlus, which is one of the biggest flying animals that ever existed and one of the largest pterosaurs that’s ever been discovered. Along with this, the static Apatosaurus and Parasaurolophus sculptures provide hands-on fun for children; unlike the animatronic replicas, kids are allowed to touch and climb on these sculptures. Great snapshot opportunities are also available thanks to the photo-op T-Rex.
The Heard’s Dinosaurs Live! show, which is included with general admission to the museum, offers fascinating information about extinct creatures that once ruled the earth. The dinosaur trail is also jogging stroller friendly, making it easy for parents with young children to navigate the exhibit. To learn more, visit the Dinosaurs Live! webpage.
