The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla Makes a Grand Debut

Whipping out 300 horsepower, a turbocharged 1.6-L engine block moves the 2023 GR Corolla. This single-scroll, turbo powerplant cranks out slightly more than 270 lb-ft of torque at variable RPMs. Direct/port fuel injection forces unleaded gasoline into the combustion chambers of this three-cylinder powertrain. All output is processed by the intelligent Manual Transmission, which incorporates the Rev Matching mechanics. Rolling on the GR-Four All-Wheel Drive, this sporty Toyota hatchback gets good traction on any road or closed course. The highly dynamic AWD system offers three distinctive ratios in torque splits, including a 30-70 setting. Made by Torsen, the front and rear limited-slip differentials prevent the slightest hints of slipping and skidding on paved surfaces. Additionally, this performance-tuned hatchback is equipped with a double-wishbone rear suspension system that neutralizes the harshness of the road.

Besides having performance-focused features, the 2023 GR Corolla boasts lots of premium electronics inside the cockpit.
