New Vehicle Warranty

The New Vehicle Warranty from Toyota covers all Toyota models, including both hybrid and non-hybrid vehicles. This warranty includes Basic Coverage for all parts in the car, except for damaged parts due to the driver's actions. This warranty starts when you buy the vehicle. It will last for 36,000 miles or 36 months.

Hybrid Warranty

This warranty covers all hybrid-related components, including the battery control module, for up to 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. In addition, the hybrid battery is now covered for a maximum of 150,000 miles or ten years, whichever comes first. The Hybrid Warranty takes effect from the date of first use.

Powertrain Warranty

If your vehicle has front-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive, those systems are covered by the Powertrain Warranty. It covers the costs of repair or replacement for all parts in the powertrain that breakdown due to defects in manufacturing or workmanship. The warranty includes the transaxle, engine, and transmission. The airbags and seat belts are also covered. The components will be covered for up to 60,000 miles or a maximum of 60 months, whichever occurs first.

Rust-Through Coverage

Corrosion that perforates the sheet metal will be covered  by the Rust-Through Warranty. Warranty coverage applies for up to 60 months regardless of miles driven.

Emissions Coverage

Optional Protection Plans

Along with the standard factory warranties, Toyota of Richardson also offers supplemental MPP protection plans for owners who want even more coverage for their new or used vehicles.
