Find the Durable Toyota Tundra In Richardson, Texas

We're excited to release the 2018 Toyota Tundra in Richardson. This mountainous truck is back and tougher than ever, with the ability and strength to tow over a ton, and updated features like you've never seen before. That includes brand-new technology, a polished interior and a stately exterior.

Need to tow? This full-size truck not only precedes its competitors but will take you places you never thought you would be able to reach. Constructed with acrobat originality, this truck is suited well for a personal pick-up truck, work truck or an off-road champion. Not to mention the reliability that Toyota always guarantees.

Models and Amenities

The 2018 Toyota Tundra in Richardson is presented within a collection of models. The Tundra is available in three cab styles, two bed lengths and in either rear- or four-wheel-drive configurations. The three cab styles include: regular cab, extended double cab and the CrewMax crew cab. The bed lengths are a 5.5-foot short bed, a 6.5-foot standard bed and an 8.1-foot long bed.

Not seeking much passenger space? The regular cab trim would be an adequate match with accessibility for three passengers. On the contrary, the extended- and crew-cab models offer seating for five or six, depending on whether you opt for front buckets or a bench seat.

Other new features are a contemporary grille and a new TRD Sport trim that comes with a hood scoop, 20-inch alloy wheels, a mesh grille, a TRD shift knob, TRD Sport floor mats, Bilstein shocks, and TRD front and rear anti-roll bars.

Extra conveniences that come with this year's model are daytime running lights, heated power mirrors, a windshield wiper de-icer, a damped tailgate, keyless entry, an integrated trailer brake controller, a tilt-only steering wheel, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, and a six-speaker sound system with a 6.1-inch touchscreen interface, an auxiliary audio jack and a USB port.

The SR Work Truck package replaces the cloth upholstery and carpet with vinyl surfaces and removes the power locks and windows.

If high-end technology appeals to you, you may decide to go for an upgraded trim offering foglights, variable intermittent windshield wipers, exterior chrome trim, 60/40-split folding rear seats and an upgraded tech interface that includes a 7-inch touchscreen, HD and satellite radio, traffic information and navigation app. Select models also come with front bucket seats that include a driver seat with power height and lumbar adjustments, a center console (with storage and "floor" shifter), a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a large gas tank (when equipped with the 5.7-liter V8), four movable bed tie-down cleats, leather upholstery and navigation.

Engineered for Success

As many 2018 Toyota Tundra reviews note, there are two engines available in the 2018 Tundra models including a 4.6-liter V-8 rated at 310 hp and 327 pound-feet of torque, and a 5.7-liter V-8 with 381 hp and 401 pound-feet. A six-speed automatic transmission is the only gearbox available.

Depending on the cab style, bed length, engine and drivetrain, the 2018 Tundra can tow as much as 2,080 pounds of payload or as little as 1,440 pounds. But when properly assembled, the truck has a towing power of 6,400 to 10,500 pounds depending on the style, drivetrain, engine and bed length.

Sophisticated Safety Systems

Toyota's Safety Sense-P suite of active safety features now come as standard operations in all 2018 Tundra models. That includes forward collision warning, pedestrian detection automatic emergency braking, lane departure alert, adaptive cruise control and automatic high beams.

The SR5 Upgrade package gets additional safety features including front and rear parking sensors, a blind-spot monitoring system and rear cross-traffic alert.
