What's New For The 2020 Toyota Tundra?

In 2020, the Toyota Tundra arrives on the scene with moderate updates. One of the biggest changes to the truck this year is the inclusion of more standard safety features. These amenities include active cruise control, lane departure warning, and forward collision alert. Automatic high beams on the vehicle's exterior improve your visibility and make the truck more visible to other drivers on the road. Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and smartphone integration are other notable features in the 2020 Tundra. The Tundra's multimedia screens are larger this year, too. For the first time in three years, consumers can now order the TRD Pro in a double cab configuration. A wide spectrum of 12 paint colors provides many opportunities for customizing the truck's appearance. Trim-specific off-road features like a fine-tuned suspension system and fortified wheels give the Tundra more capability on the trails.

There are six trim levels available in the 2020 Toyota Tundra. The 2020 lineup starts with the entry-level SR. A seven-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is standard. The tailgate is specially designed to be easy to lift and lower, which expedites loading and unloading time while simultaneously making it safer. Daytime running lights are a notable convenience. The SR also gets an integrated backup camera and an integrated trailer brake control. The SR5 has a larger eight-inch infotainment screen with HD and satellite radio. Fog lights are standard, and larger 18-inch wheels are available.

The Limited gets even bigger 20-inch wheels. Dual-zone climate control is standard. Heated and leather seats are standard on the Limited. It also gets LED headlights and fog lights. The Platinum sports 20-inch six-spoke alloy wheels and special perforated leather seats. It also gets a more advanced sound system. The 1974 Edition is a modern take on a classic look. A Western-inspired interior, wood trim accents, and modern amenities like heated and ventilated seats create a perfect package of style and function. This trim also has more standard safety features, and its infotainment system includes navigation.
