
Electrified Trailblazer: The Toyota Prius Marks 25 Years in the U.S.

Toyota has always pioneered the future, so their plans for going all-electric should come as no surprise to anyone. By 2050, the Japanese automaker set a goal to achieve total carbon neutrality. Introducing the Toyota bZ4X Concept, the latest car in these plans for total electrification of its vehicle lineup will stand out as the new torchbearer.
Now in its fourth iteration, the Toyota Prius is once again turning the hybrid market on its head. This all-new model of the popular hybrid car gets even more energy efficient features, as well as a spunky and modern exterior design that provides an added edge to the hatchback.
Toyota celebrated Earth Day this April with yet another ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year award. This is the automaker’s 11th year winning the prestigious prize, which is given out each year by the Environmental Protection Agency.
Toyota is known as the automaker when it comes to hybrid cars. Already sporting a full lineup of green vehicles, the automaker decided to ramp up its hybrid offerings even more this year, mainly in the guise of one of their most popular models: the RAV4. The new hybrid crossover debuted at the New York Auto Show this April, and it’s definitely one of the most exciting new hybrid vehicles to come out in sometime.
